Play, Make, Create.

Today we listined to the story we are all equal. I worked with Chris. We made a Snake board and making the deck of the snake board worked well. I would change the wheels to be bigger.

This is my Play, Make, Create it is a compass

I was going to make a 3D compass but it did not work out so I made a 2D compass.

I had got stuck after i made it so I added the plastic around the compass.

Whetu challenge

Isaac, Michael and me made our tower 141cm high it was tricky but fun at the same time.

We made a square base but then it took to long, so we folded it up so we had made a big base.

It was hard because we wanted to make it higher but it would fall over and then we would have to fix it so we took our best chance and added a better base.

We made a big random build it was hard to get it to the hight we got.

We had to make a big base with it because it was bending to the side so we made the base go to all the sides.

We where just gonna make a 3D cube but we had 30minutes left so we just made a random thing that was high.

I like my house because i have a ps5 PC and gitar and it has a motor bike helmet.

 I worked with Brooklyn.

First we tryed a fold over kite but it did not work so we did that Kite that i am holding in the picture.

It was hard at times but we got past those times.

it did not work so we made the string shoter so we could hold it by our shoulder.

monday we had come to school and there was a crime seene

 we made an abadond house it got broken once but we made it again and the picture did not send to me so I dont have a ppicture of the abandon house me and Leo made.

We done what we love and adventure because we where adventuring the abandon house.

we made the floor fall in and the roof fall in so it looked more like an abandon house.

it was hard at times but we past thoose times.

NumBots & TTRockstars Blog Post

 Term 2, Week 1 2021

During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots.  At the start it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.

I am now on alatanum level of NumBots.  

I enjoy NumBots because it not to hard at the start and it just get harder the more you go up

What I find challenging is the challenges the last challenge is hard to complete

This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online programme which helps us to learn our timetables. First we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables.

I think that TTRockstars will behard to get all the times tabes back, and get back up to 1:09

Up the creek

 Up the creek is a book aboat team work.

We make a padle and a boat that can go down a raging water fall.

I worked with Dean.

We made a moter padle and a moter kayak.

The wings are the padles they have moters on them.

Whetu Fun Day - Blog Post

 Whetu Fun Day

Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed.  Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead!  We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.

My favourite part of the Amazing Race was at the playcentre because people where walking right past the egg.

The rotation I enjoyed the most was stem challnge because we got to make Issac a dress, cape, hippy head band and shoes. He kept the shoes.

During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick in one of the small trees by the fence.

Week 5, Term 1, 2021

Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I took part in give it a go Freestyle and Backstroke

and i took part in 1 leanth Breastroke. In Freestyle I got close to a leanth but I couldint. In backstroke I stop sometimes. In Breastroke I done the full leanth.

We had two art sessions this week and I am doing collage with miss mac and I am doing a Eagle.

In reading this week we have reading the worlds worst teachers and we got to make our own worst teacher.

Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am Chrome and I have the legs and the torso I think.

 this week for whetu challange I did a scratch of a catapila hide and seek game.

I worked with and beside michael and we both made a hide and seek game I helped him and he helped me.

Someone who has helped me with my learning this year is Micheal helped me by trrading me a good pokemon card.

The most fun thing we have done during class time is numbots because I like maths and I like to pass levels it feels good.

The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is playing with Micheal.

One word that describes learning in Whetu is Fun!.

Something I am looking forward to is reaching dimond stage on numbots.
